Rocket League Tournament Mode Beta Coming Soon

The highly anticipated tournament mode for Rocket League has been confirmed to arrive in either March or April, according the developer Psyonix. Next month, players will have the chance to test out this new format, when the mode goes live as part of a public beta on Steam.

As for what else is coming to the game, the recently laid out road map for Spring will bring new licensed premium DLC, which has included franchises such as Fast & Furious in the past. There will also be a spring event, that is scheduled to run until some point in April.

Regarding what’s coming after April, developer Psyonix seem keen to bring cross-platform parties to Rocket League, which looks to be one of their primary objectives in 2018, which will allow players to play with friends across consoles. Players should also expect to see new arenas, as well as a reworked progression system, which is something that many feel is greatly needed.

As you can see from the roadmap, which you can find here, there are a lot of things coming to Rocket League this year as well as what’s already been mentioned, such as quality-of-life improvements, of which item stacking will arrive in either March or April. Meanwhile, the next update launches on February 7th to introduce the next competitive season.
