The Patch Notes For Fortnite Season 4 Are Here

Season four of Fortnite started with a bang, but not in a metaphorical sense, but an actual bang, as shards of a huge comet crashlanded on the game’s map, bringing some interesting things for both the PvE and the Battle Royal mode. We will be mostly talking about the Battle Royal mode, as it is the thing that is hogging all the spotlight in the gaming world at the moment, but we will also briefly touch upon the new features that came to the PvE mode as well.

Players hoped for some interesting changes in Season 4, and they got them. The map of the Fortnite Battle Royal mode is changing, as shards of an enormous landed on the map and made quite a few changes to it. The really interesting part of Season 4 is the addition of the glowing rocks, which give you the ability to float around the map like a ghost once you consume them. This will change the flow of the game, but we are not sure by how much.

The “Save the World” PvE mode also got a ton of new stuff, including a new Mythic Solder “Raven” – Subclass called “Nevermore” that uses deafening war cries and dual wields pistols. The Husks now also have a chance to give you loot like crafting ingredients, ammo, and even schematics in cases where you’re fighting more powerful enemies.

The patch list for season 4 is humongous, as you could expect from such a huge update, so if you want to look at the entire thing, you can do that on their official site.
