Dragon Ball FighterZ Gets Extra Day In Beta

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a little over a week away from release, and it’s arguably going to be one of the biggest fighting game releases in recent memory. This title has been hyped up since its reveal during the Microsoft Press Conference at E3 2017, and multiple trailers and videos have shown off the characters, their skills, and of course, how gorgeous the game looks. Bandai Namco started a beta for the game last week, but it didn’t go as planned.

Mainly, the beta was having server issues. This made it so players couldn’t log in to the game to fighter other players and do some of the other features the beta offered. Bandai Namco promised to try and fix this, but were met with more issues as they did. So, they went to Twitter last night to fix the situation:

While not the longest addition, an extra day is better than nothing, right? And besides, if the beta extension works, it means the game will be ready when it launches next week.

Dragon Ball FighterZ aims to be a very deep fighting game, not only touching upon the nostalgia of the Dragon Ball franchise but also, creating a brand new story featuring an all-new character. Plus, every single character in the game has been customized so that they play differently than the others. Even characters like Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta, who have multiple forms in the game, have different attacks from their powered-up counterparts.

The full game will release on Xbox One, PC and PS4 On January 26th.
