Datamined Dialogue For TMNT In Injustice 2

When the original Injustice game arrived, it featured virtually all DC Comics characters. Which was fine, as this was a DC Comics storyline. However, there was one exception, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. Turns out, Scorpion was the most downloaded DLC character in the game, and NetherRealm Studios decided to go to the next level with Injustice 2‘s DLC characters. For while they did add more DC Comics characters, they also included more Mortal Kombat characters, as well as two very special characters. Hellboy, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Now, yes, the TMNT are technically four different characters, but in Injustice 2, they apparently fight as one. Kind of like Pokemon Trainer from Super Smash Bros Brawl. Since their unveil for the Fighter Pack 3, NetherRealm Studios hasn’t been doing a lot to show them off outside of some tweets and gifs. But, leave it to dataminers to find some cool stuff. For they apparently found all the dialogue for the characters, put it in a video, and uploaded it to Youtube.

To be fair, we don’t know if this, in fact, the actual dialogue. However, you’d have to go to great lengths to fake the amount that is in that video. What’s more, you can clearly hear four different voices, and you can hear the unique lines that would only be heard in Injustice 2. Such as, “A goddess of war…vs a Ninja Turtle?” Or one of our favorites, “Gods have nothing on New Yorkers.”

So, though confirmation is given at present, we really do think this is the real deal. Hopefully though, NetherRealm Studios will drop a character trailer for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soon, as we want to see them in action, as well as hear them for ourselves with their characters models.

No word yet on when they’ll release into the game.
