Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Characters Datamined?

There’s always a desire to know what’s coming up for titles in terms of their updates and DLC. Especially when DLC is impactful to the title in a big way. Such as, when a fighting game is going to be getting new characters. Just yesterday, Dragon Ball FighterZ released their first two DLC characters in Broly and Bardock. But fans are already looking high and low for clues as to what or who will be coming next. And a dataminer seems to have found a clue.

According to dataminer Mizumi, he’s found info that states that there will be six new DLC characters coming out this “season”. Which would conform with past Dragon Ball titles. The characters “revealed” are Zamasu, base form Goku and Vegeta (Saiyan Saga), Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito, Android 17, and “New Cooler”. Some of these definitely conform with past rumors, while others a bit out of left field in some ways.

For those who don’t know some of these characters, we’ll break them down. Zamasu comes from Dragon Ball Super, and was a North Kai who had no respect for humanity. So much so that he teams up with other versions of himself to try and wipe them out from the universe in a misguided attempt at “justice”. It was Zamasu that took over the dead Goku’s body from the “Android Future” and became Goku Black.

While Goku and Vegeta need no introduction, Vegito is a fusion form that the two did in an attempt to defeat Kid Buu. For his to go Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan though is a new trick, and would be an exclusive to this title.

Android 17 is the brother to Android 18 (already in the game), and was recently made a hero via the Dragon Ball Super arc “Tournament of Power”.

Cooler on the other hand is the brother to Frieza, and was seen in several Dragon Ball movies. But what “New Cooler” means isn’t clear at present.

Obviously, this “leak” hasn’t been confirmed, but we’ll keep you apprised should it happen.
