Video gamers love a challenge, and we work hard to try and overcome that challenge. Yet, sometimes, we like to create challenges for ourselves to try and prove our skill, our dedication, and to break the perception that something is “impossible”. For the Dark Souls franchise, you’d think that one of the best challenges to conquer would be to beat the game, or, to beat the game without dying, both of which have been done. However, on Twitch streamer decided to take the challenge to the next level. He would beat the trilogy…without taking a hit.
Now, to be clear, “without taking a hit” means taking a hit from an enemy or boss. He can take damage, which this streamer did to power up his weapons, but he refused to take a single hit from a single foe. His name, is the The_Happy_Hob, and he did it, and here is the clip showing him beating the last game to prove it.
He documented his entire no-hit run on Twitch, and even started with Dark Souls III and went backwards in titles just to make it even more fun. What’s more, there were no cheats, no glitches, and interestingly enough, no magic used in this run.
To say that this is impressive is an understatement. This man spent a year trying to make this happen, and even came close to doing it at one point, but the final boss screwed him. Yet, he buckled down, he never lost faith, and he did it. And as you’ll see when you watch the final clip, he is on Cloud 9 when he realizes he did it.
And why shouldn’t he be? No one else has done this in the many years the games have been out. You just made history man, live it up.
