Blizzard To Reduce Duplicates in Overwatch

There has been a very big change in the latest Overwatch patch, one that will be most welcoming for fans of the Blizzard shooter.

The highlight being that this update will dramatically reduce the amount of duplicates found in Loot Boxes, something that has been heavily requested by fans for quite a while now. This is because Blizzard has stated they want players to “experience of opening a loot box to feel exciting and rewarding”. The amount of credits has also been increased to compensate for those who have received duplicates in the past, which is pretty much everyone.

Many players grew frustrated at constantly receiving duplicates every time they earned Loot Boxes, and the low amount of credits received for their troubles. This is something that has now happily been rectified, much to the delight of many.

As for the rest of the patch, the new hero Doomfist arrived with a new set of highlight options, which allow players to use the game’s new capture feature. With this, you can capture 12 seconds of your own gameplay, and bound to a single button under Request Highlight, holding 36 at a time.

Overwatch is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
