Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy To Release Early

Last year, old-school gamers rejoiced that Crash Bandicoot was returning, albeit via a remake of his classic PS1 trilogy. But, when people played Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, they were surprised not just by how well the games were remade, but by how much the games still hold up. The title sold over 1 million units on PS4 alone, and then, earlier this year, it was revealed that the remade trilogy would be coming to Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

The game was slated to arrive on July 13th, which actually coincided with another big release in Octopath Traveler from Square Enix. But now, via a tweet, we found out this:

“Crash has defeated N. Tropy and is giving fans the gift of time! The N. Sane Trilogy is launching on new platforms early — June 29, 2018!”

Now, you might not think that moving a game up two weeks is a big deal, but it can helps space things out. Especially for Nintendo Switch gamers who had 3 big titles coming out on that same day.

Crash

There are a few things of note to be talked about here. A new report is surfacing that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy versions that are about to come out won’t have any references to the trilogies original creators: Naughty Dog. To remind you, the remade trilogy was made by a subsidiary of Activision, who are ironically making the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The references to Naughty Dog were present in the PS4 version, but that makes sense as Naughty Dog only makes games for Sony, so them not being mentioned in the other versions is smart, if not solely for legal reason.

Also, many people are seeing this move up for a more…personal reason…as they think Nintendo will reveal Crash for Super Smash Bros for Switch sooner after its release on Switch.

No wonder. Steam Sales are going to be around the same time. The game being released on July, a vast majority of gamers would have their wallets empty.
    Coincidence? I don’t think so…
