Destiny 2 Beta Client Updated

A brand new update has come to the Destiny 2 beta client, with the file size increasing to 15.06GB on PlayStation 4.
For those who have a beta key but haven’t downloaded the actual client, then it might be worth downloading when possible, since servers are likely to be pretty chaotic when it rolls out later.

The beta is set to run until the end of this weekend, with access opening up day-by-day over the course of this week. PS4 owners, as previously announced, will be able to access the beta first from tonight, whilst Xbox One owners who pre-ordered the game can get stuck in from tomorrow, with the beta starting at 6pm UK time for both platforms on their respective days. From Thursday, all players will have access to the beta, which concludes on Monday, July 24th.

Players will have access to the game’s opening story mission entitled Homecoming, as well as The Inverted Spire, which presents a new strike mission. As for the Crucible, the earth-based Midtown map and the Endless Vale on Nessus will be available to try out, as well as the Control mode and more.

This will be a first insight for players to experience the highly anticipated sequel, so be sure to indulge before it concludes on Monday.
