Diablo 4 might just be announced at this year’s BlizzCon if we’re to trust a certain advert that appeared for The Art of Diablo book.
The sudden advert
VGC found out that a certain german magazine had a very specific ad. The ad was for The Art of Diablo book. Nothing special, just a collection of artwork from Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo 4. Wait, how is there a fourth game listed here? Blizzard never announced a fourth Diablo title, at least not to my knowledge. Maybe they meant to write Diablo Immortal. You know, that mobile Diablo title that the fans absolutely adored.
All jokes aside, with all the negative press Blizzard has been getting, they might think this is their way out. Just announce a brand new entry in one of their most popular franchises. That will surely wipe off the dirt from their name after the Hong Kong-Hearthstone fiasco. It won’t, but they probably think that it will since a lot of people have been eagerly waiting for the day when Diablo 4 sees the light of day.
Multiple Diablo projects
We know that they’ve been working on multiple Diablo projects for a while now. With BlizzCon around the corner, something major and anticipated has to happen. Their best bet is a new Diablo game. Still, considering that the previous game was quite lacking until the Reaper of Souls expansions, hopes are not high.
Blizzard over the last few years never actually impressed its fans. Really, they’ve been continually disappointing them. Maybe after this BlizzCon that changes for the better. Maybe not. We just have to wait and see.
Before a new Diablo ARPG gets announced, why not give the previous one a try? You can buy a Diablo III Battlechest PC game key on HRK Game for dirt cheap. Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer PC game key is also available for purchase.
