You may have noticed some issues with Fortnite a few days ago, with players complaining on December 27th after a new build of the game had been introduced. The issues that arose saw players losing items in their inventory, as well as Storm Shield storage and not receiving V-Bucks that had been purchased with real money.
If you have been affected by this, then fear not, as the game’s developers has promised to bring an array of rewards for those who have lost out. This compensation will come in the form of V-Bucks, items and more. The Storm Shield issue meanwhile is currently being looked into, and players will be updated on this solution in the near future. As for those who lost V-Bucks that had been purchased, an equal or greater amount than what they had before.
Going forward, Epic Games would like to bring in an additive restore on lost items, though a timeframe has yet to be confirmed. Rest assured, creative director Darren Sugg has stated that they “will make it happen.”
