First Cuphead Update Details Revealed

The release of the run-and-gun platformer has been very well received by fans. After several delays plaguing the title’s release, we finally saw it launch on September 29th on Xbox One and PC.

We now know at least some of the plans that Studio MDHR has for the game post-launch. Coming first is an update which will fix the store save bug that has affected the Windows 10 version, which has prevented players from using the Alt-Tab key combination to switch away from the game. This issue appears to only be occurring for Windows 10 users, with Steam players seemingly being unaffected.

There has also been some general fixes for Cuphead, one of which being a nerf. The charge weapon was considered to be overpowered, and has had its effects slightly decreased to balance the feature. As for what else we might see coming to Cuphead, it still remains to be seen. Having said that, the studio behind the game has confirmed that the retro-style release will be getting plenty more attention going forward into the future, though it has yet to be revealed what exactly this is.

Cuphead has been praised by fans and critics so far, praising it for its 1930s cartoon visuals and challenging difficulty. It is available on Xbox One and PC now.
