Fortnite Glitch Is Causing Players To Not Earn XP Or Rewards

Fortnite has been in the news for a lot of good reasons as of late. So it was only a matter of time before something came in to knock it down. Well, a new patch for the game has come out, and it brings a lot of new things to the table, which is good. However, there is also a glitch within it that affects all modes of gameplay that makes it so players don’t earn XP or rewards during their matches, and that’s a problem.

Thankfully, Epic Games does seem to be on top of things. For they’ve posted on Twitter stating:

The Sniper Shootout v2 LTM isn’t granting rewards, XP, or progress. We’re investigating this and will update you once we have more information.

For the record, people are incurring this bug in both Battle Royale Mode and Save The World mode as well. Which Epic later confirmed:

There is an issue with earned rewards not being granted at the end of Save the World missions. We are investigating and will provide an update as soon as we have more information.

Hopefully, with them now fully aware of the situation and what it entails for players, Epic Games will get a hotfix worked up in a hurry. The last thing they need is for a wave of players to stop playing Fortnite because the title won’t let them earn anything.

This has been a rare speedbump for Epic Game’s hit title in the last few months, which has seen its popularity skyrocket to unbelievable levels. Including the fact that it’s now more profitable than PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and has more concurrent players than its rival.

The reason for this has been Epic Games dedication to keeping things fresh and new, with new weapons, new modes, and more for players to enjoy.
