New GOG Refund Policy Is Too Good To Be True

GOG introduced a brand new refund policy that seems a bit too good to be true and can be exploited by basically anyone.

CD Projekt made a complete 180 turn with its new refund policy for GOG. Before you couldn’t get a refund if you downloaded and played a title. But now, you can request a refund within 30 days no matter how much you’ve played the game. Now, I’m not saying that everyone is going to abuse this new policy. But I’m pretty darn sure there’s going to be a lot of people doing just that. Their FAQ reads:

Please respect all the time and hard work put into making the games you play and remember that refunds are not reviews. If you finished the game and didn’t like it, please consider sharing your opinion instead. Also, please don’t take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. Don’t be that person. No one likes that person.

I don’t think this policy is going to last for long. This system openly invites abuse, so it will be interesting to see how many fall prey to their urge to play a game for a month and then get their money back via this new GOG refund policy.
