Otherland Patch Makes Quest Changes

Otherland is taking down servers in both the EU and US in order to apply a patch. The servers will only be down for two hours, and will be a much larger update than usual as far as typical hotfixes go.

The end of the Halloween event has unfortunately arrived, meaning that quests, bosses and items from the event have now been disabled. There have been a number of changes to quests in fact, such as “Richi28” which sees enemy gang members having the correct weapons, and Richi won’t be immortal anymore. Meanwhile, “Some more work” will also have correct weapons, and “Future Robin Hood” now correctly displays “Upper Bad Sector.” Plus, “The gold mine” will now require you to complete the objectives before returning, whilst the quest experience reward has been decreased for “We were never there.” Quest items should no longer cause FPS issues for players either.

There had been a rare bug that saw portals to lock prior to taking on the Celestial Dragon, which has now since been fixed. As for maps, endless loading screens will be a thing of the past when traveling to the Club 101 and Bar Black Room. Finally, the speed has been reduced for the loss of durability.
