Exciting news has arrived for Sphere III: Enchanted World, with the Altar of the Forgotten Ones making its way into the game.
A description for the additional content reads: “The ground around the Altar is soaked with blood of champions who seek to claim it for the glory of their race. Capture the Altar, and it will grant special bonuses to humans or demons..”
This new content will enable the Other map filter, which will allow you to find the Altar of the Forgotten Ones. As your character approaches the altar, they will begin to capture it. However, in order to progress, you’ll need to outnumber the characters from the other faction, so keep this in mind.
By staying closer to the altar, the influence of your faction will increase. Here, additional characters in your faction who are also near the altar will be able to speed up the capture, however if there are enemy faction members nearby, it will in turn hinder your progress. To capture an altar, it takes a single character 10 minutes to do so, so you can make this quicker by using the previously mentioned method.
Bonuses for controlling the altar will include an additional 50% collected gold and 25% added gathered resources. It’s worth noting, that these bonuses will only work within the Forgotten Lands.
