PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Patch Notes Tackle Vaulting and Idle Players

The development team behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds recently outlined plans for the game’s patch and update schedule, which will give them more time to work on new features before they are brought into the game. This latest update is set to arrive today, with the patch notes recently being revealed to players.

A plethora of fixes and alterations have been made, though the devs have chosen to focus first and foremost on some pressing issues, one of which being vaulting. Due to the complex algorithm within, the vaulting mechanic is taking a lot longer than expected, what with there being a heavy number of leapable objects throughout PUBG. According to the patch notes, this is something that will need to be addressed for a longer period of time, possibly in early November.

Other pressing matters that have been addressed include the issue of idle players, who will no longer be allowed to earn BPS, and it’s something that will be monitored going forward with the hopes of improving the current system. Also, the first-person only servers have now been added for DUO on OCE servers, which will be monitored to see if another game mode could potentially be added in the future.
