Project Genom’s PTS Update Coming To Live Servers

Project Genom is an open-world sci-fi MMO that offers a lot of interesting options in the game, from piloting mechs, using all kinds of interesting futuristic technology, and more. The game is still in its Alpha stage of development, but we just found out that the developers plan to move their new and overhauled game system from the Public Test Server to the live servers. This is great news, but there is still some work that they need to get done before moving the update to the live servers like adding quests, balance the features of the new version, test some things, etc.

Project Genom

The in-game world has been reworked and updated, so now Project Genom feels a lot more alive, and now the major quests need to be added. This isn’t an easy job, as massive quests like these need NPCs, dialogs, scripted events, and things like that to work properly. The enemies that you fight in these quests and the rewards that you are given when you complete them also need to be balanced as well, as quests need to be also challenging and rewarding.

So, when can we expect the update to hit the live servers? It’s still not known, as they are now in the process of testing all of the new features on the PTS. After that is done and everything works perfectly, the updated game system and all the new additions will come to the live servers, which will mark the end of Project Genom’s early Alpha phase.
