SNES Classic Edition Pre-Orders Already Out of Stock

The SNES Classic edition was in high demand upon the announcement of the pre-order, and have been hard to get a hold of ever since. With production not matching set demand, the console has been something that has been difficult to purchase for many consumers.

The Classic edition has appeared on retail sites on a global scale over the past few weeks, and despite Nintendo increasing production in comparison to the NES, they are still flying out as fast as they land. Walmart was the first US retailer that took pre-orders for the console, yet sold out in less than an hour, which was a recurring theme worldwide as stores continue to run out.

In fact, the pre-orders lasted a mere 30 minutes before going completely out of stock, which led to orders being cancelled. Since no official announcement was made, fans were left wondering in the US as to when the pre-orders would be going up. It was simply stumbled upon before the news spread like wildfire to the point where SNES Classic was trending on Twitter.

Of course, some fans have been left furious, with their orders being cancelled by Walmart after paying for pre-orders for a SNES Classic edition. Hopefully more will be restocked soon.
