The mystery behind the purple lightning in Fortnite got replaced with a giant purple cube. We don’t really know what its purpose is, but it is slowly moving around the place.
Ok, so it seems like this giant purple cube is slowly moving in an unknown direction. Very slowly, and if you stand close to it, it will refill your shields. If you shoot at it, it will produce purple lightning. Epic Games sure do know how to keep something mysterious and intriguing. There are some strange codes written all over the cube, but no one knows what it’s supposed to mean. Players were speculating about what the purple lightning would bring out, but no one expected this. Will the upcoming Fortnite season have something to do with alternate realities or something like an alien dimension?
Who knows, at this point, your guess is as good as ours, as Epic Games usually have very wacky ides for its battle royal shooter. We suppose that it’s exactly that wackiness that’s keeping this game as popular as it currently is. But, it’s only a matter of time before the hype dies out, as no game can sustain its hype factor forever.
Nonetheless, the player base of this shooter is still enormous, and now that now content is on the way, we’re guessing that it’s going to stay that way.
