The Xbox Live service is down for many users, with multiple reports coming in over the last couple of hours that its not working, with those affected unable to access core online services. The amount of players that have complained has increased dramatically over the last hour or so, with the current Xbox Live Status page stating that Xbox Live Core Services are having issues at the time of writing this. Devices affected include Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 10 and any other Xbox linked devices.
Microsoft have caught wind of the problem, and have released the following statement: “We are aware that some members may be having problems signing in to Xbox Live. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and we will be sure to provide you with frequent updates.”
Microsoft have also spoken out about MYTF1 and Sky Go apps not working, commenting: “Hello Xbox members, we’re currently experiencing an issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back for updates.”
Hopefully Microsoft have the issue resolved soon and Xbox fans can get back to gaming for the upcoming weekend. At this current time, services are still down, with the problem with Xbox Live Core Services still lingering.
