Xbox One Version Of Minecraft Gets Holiday Update

It’s very easy to miss things when it comes to the holiday season. For you’re so busy trying to get through work and the obligations of the holiday that sometimes you just can’t help but miss things. What’s more, you’re likely to have little time to do the things that you love to do, like play video games, especially the games that can suck you in for hours like Minecraft. But, now that the holidays are over, you can get back to building your world! And, if you have the Xbox One version of the game, you’ll be greeted by an update that was released last week.

As revealed on the official Minecraft forums, the update not only fixes many bugs and updates certain systems, but, it brings forth some new content for you to enjoy. For example, there is now a Norse Mythology pack, which will allow you to become some legendary character like Thor and Loki. And, while the holiday season is still here, there’s a “Festive Tumble Arena”, where you can hang out and enjoy the holidays with others.

Or, maybe you’re looking for a new way to get around? Well, there’s a brand new horse model that’s there to ride if you can get to it. Plus, you can make it shine by bringing it some custom armor, as all leather horse armor is now dyeable.

Speaking of things to dye things in. The cauldron in Minecraft has been adjusted. For now, you can fill it with potions, use arrows in them to give the arrows a special tip, you can put water in it, and then dye armor.

The world itself has also been given more. There’s now fallen and dying trees, carpet has been added to towns, certain villages won’t grow crops anymore due to where they are climate-wise, and more. Check out the full patch notes to see all that you will be doing.
