Call of Duty 2021 Is Skipping E3

It seems like Sledgehammer Games won’t reveal Call of Duty 2021 during this year’s E3 and instead will show it in a Warzone tie-in event.

Call of Duty 2021 still hasn’t been revealed. But, we know that Sledgehammer Games is making it. It will have a single-player campaign, a multiplayer mode, and zombies. We expect a release sometime around November 2021.

So, why won’t we see Call of Duty 2021 at this year’s E3? Seems like a strange thing to skip out on the most popular gaming showcase in the world. Then again, many big names of the video game industry decided to make their own events exclusively for their titles and franchises.

However, I’m pretty sure Sledgehammer Games have a different plan. You see, last year we got a Warzone event that revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Since Warzone is one of CoD’s biggest money makers right now, it makes sense to tie in the new games with their free-to-play battle royale entry.

According to VGC, Call of Duty 2021’s integration to Warzone comes with a brand new World War II map. The biggest one and most ambitious one yet that’s planned to release the same time when the game launches.

Are you excited for a new Warzone map? Is Call of Duty 2021’s absence from E3 the right move? Let me know in the comments section down below!
