Chivalry II Is Having Issues With Its Big Launch

It seems like the devs of Chivalry II didn’t expect all the issues that came with the game’s extremely successful launch.

Bloody, savage medieval slaughter. A weighty and complex combat system that fills you with power as your giant two-handed sword cleaves an arm off your enemy. Not a lot of games let you experience the thrill of battle as much as Chivalry II does.

It seems exactly this attracted the attention of a lot of gamers ready to violently massacre their foes on the battlefield. Dev studio Torn Banner Studios wasn’t expecting this kind of success it seems. Neither did their servers, judging from a few of their tweets.

This, together with the log-in and matchmaking issues is mostly fixed, but some issues still plague this medieval multiplayer mayhem simulator. One of the biggest unresolved issues is the Special Edition owners not getting their currency and items that come with this version of the game.

But, it’s not all bad. The devs are working hard to resolve these problems and some new ones. Not only that, they’re giving away a copy of the game. With a small bonus of an Intel-powered Alienware M17 R4 gaming PC. Check out the giveaway here.
