Frosty Fest Hits Rocket League

The time has come for Christmas to finally hit Rocket League, with Psyonix implementing a number of festive features into the game. The Frosty Fest is now underway on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

This event will run through until January 2nd, and will end at 6pm GMT, so make sure that you indulge in the festivities whilst they are around over the holidays. You will notice a few similarities with the event compared to the last Halloween event that was brought in, though this time we will see snowflakes used as bonus currency, as opposed to the candy corn that was used last time out.

Psyonix offered up the following description: “Are you ready for Yuletide aerials and Goal Explosions (literally) chock full of presents and cheer? Then get ready for Frosty Fest in Rocket League.Frosty Fest is based on the same kind of in-game Event you experienced previously with Haunted Hallows back in October.”

The developers also referred to the Haunted Hallows event in reference to its format, with snowflakes being made available for you to purchase items, decryptors and even the new Frosty Fest event crate.

Rocket League is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
