Minecraft Honors Builder By Showing Off Dawnton Castle

When it comes to certain hit games, you can often find one or two key reasons why the game is a major success. In the case of Minecraft, it literally boils down to the ability to do and build just about anything you want. The only choice really is if you want to slog your way through getting the materials or go to the free mode where you can have all the ones you want. Through this freedom, some truly amazing things have been made.

The team at Mojang love their player base, and so it’s not surprising that they like to highlight certain amazing builds that have happened in the game. So, on their website, the team revealed a special build, a majestic castle that looks like it belongs in the real world. It was built by UK player zBeats, and it’s called Dawnton Castle. You can view it below.

The team interviewed zBeats about his creation, and he admitted that he was inspired by another player to truly make his creation come to life.

“I definitely have to give a huge shout out to a very talented builder Vubervos, [who] inspired me to work on Dawnton Castle,” he notes.

Like all good builds, there was a lot of experimentation, trying to see what worked and what didn’t. Though, when he got really serious, he started with just a small part and worked his way up:

Eventually, I wound up with the first section of the castle and was getting some really nice feedback and reviews about it, which then motivated me to keep adding more.”

Once the build itself was done, he asked some friends to help with the textures for some of the castle parts and its surroundings, and the results speak for themselves. The castle is now a proud part of the Minecraft universe, and it’s going to be there for a while.
