Super Smash Bros Ultimate Update 2.0.1 Has Arrived

Super Smash Bros Ultimate was one of the biggest successes of 2018, and the best-selling exclusive title in recent memory. It’s packed 75 character roster has made many fans happy, and Nintendo deserves all the praise it has gotten for the game. However, just because it’s good doesn’t mean it’s perfect. There are some bugs in the game that have caused some problems for players. Thankfully, a brand new patch has come out for it, and it fixes some of these issues.

The big bug fix has to do with an Adventure Mode glitch that many people pointed out:

  • A bug in Ver. 2.0.0 where the King K. Rool Challenge in the Adventure section of Challenges wouldn’t clear, even after fulfilling the conditions, has been fixed. If you have experienced th bug, please reload your Adventure save data. After that, return to the main menu and the King K. Rool Challenge will clear
Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Aside from that, the main change was some quality of life improvements aimed to make Super Smash Bros Ultimate a better game.

While this update is very much appreciated, pretty much all Smash Bros Ultimate players right now are interested in what is coming this April. In case you didn’t get the confirmation, Joker from Persona 5 is going to be the first official DLC character (Piranha Plant was a bonus character) for the game, and it’s been confirmed by Nintendo that he’ll arrive in April.

This of course means that four other characters are still to be named, and there are plenty of rumors and speculation as to who is coming.

Some of the biggest speculation is around a Dragon Quest character, and with Nintendo’s growing good relationship with Square Enix, that is possible. Though fans are hoping for Sora from Kingdom Hearts as well.

Banjo Kazooie has also been through around, and some 1st party characters have been named too. But what will they be? We’ll just have to wait and see.
