CDPR doubles down on the latest Cyberpunk 2077 release date in their latest earnings presentation for their investors.
The latest earnings presentation really shows how much effort and money is going into Cyberpunk. It’s safe to say that it really may be the biggest launch of this time, and it shows. There’s a ton of marketing, from billboards, ads, merch drops, and so on. CD Projekt Red is putting their all into this game, so another delay could spell catastrophe. It got delayed before when it wasn’t supposed to and I covered that, well I covered the game a bunch of times because it’s the talk of the town and I’m quite interested in it.
Right now, CDPR wants the investors to know that they’re sticking to the Cyberpunk 2077 release date that was shown last, that being December 10th. It’s a good thing that The Witcher 3 is still earning them tons of money since the cost for developing their magnum opus is insane and the constant delays together with some other trouble the company found itself in aren’t exactly helping.
But, this is CDPR we’re talking about. They’re not a perfect company, and their crunching methods need to stop. It’s good seeing a company that makes excellent titles, but not at the cost of their worker’s health. I hope they change, because they’re masters of their craft, and Cyberpunk 2077 is their most ambitious project. So, stop mandatory crunching. Also don’t delay Cyberpunk anymore. Do that and you can be the golden boy of PC gaming once again CDPR!
