Slay the Spire, the roguelike card building game has finally left Early Access, and got a cool launch trailer.
Slay the Spire is probably one of the best roguelike card building games that we ever played. Easy to learn, but really hard to master, incredibly addictive, and super fun. It’s like a dungeon crawler merged with a card-building game with so many options, and turn based combat.
If you’ve never played it before and you like what we just described, be sure to pick it up. The game finally left Early Access, and is polished and free of most bugs. There are three characters in the game, each with their own cards and options, and there are 4 Acts that you need to complete.
The User Reviews on Steam are Overwhelmingly Positive, so that should be an indication that tells you just how good this title is. Slay the Spire isn’t unforgiving once you learn about certain things and how to build your deck. It isn’t easy either, as you will fail many times before you understand how certain enemies work, how to build a deck around a single card or Relic, and when you should rest and when to upgrade a card.
The devs plan on adding more content on the PC, and we’re looking forward to seeing in what direction they take this game.
